1. About These Terms
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the coreceltic.com website and all services provided by Core Celtic Limited ("we", "our", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, operating from Cardigan, Ceredigion, West Wales.
By using our website, requesting a quotation, purchasing a subscription, or engaging us to carry out works, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Our Services
Core Celtic Projects: one-off and contract building works, renovation, maintenance, heritage restoration and associated construction services, quoted and agreed on a project-by-project basis.
Core Celtic Maintain: a subscription-based property maintenance and facilities management service offered in three tiers (Essential, HomeCare and Complete Care), billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
3. Core Celtic Maintain: Subscription Terms
3.1 Plans and Pricing
- Essential: £29 per month / £290 per year
- HomeCare: £59 per month / £590 per year
- Complete Care: £99 per month / £990 per year
All prices include VAT where applicable. These are introductory prices subject to review. We will give you at least 30 days' written notice of any price change.
3.2 Cooling-Off Period
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date your subscription begins. During this period you may cancel for a full refund by contacting us at hello@coreceltic.com. If you have received a service visit during this period, we may deduct a proportionate amount.
3.3 Billing and Payment
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. If a payment fails, we will notify you by email. If payment remains outstanding after 14 days, we reserve the right to suspend your subscription until the balance is cleared.
3.4 Cancellation
You may cancel at any time through your online account portal or by emailing hello@coreceltic.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are given for partial billing periods, except during the 14-day cooling-off period. For annual subscriptions cancelled after the cooling-off period, benefits continue until the end of the paid period.
3.5 What Is Included
The scope of each plan is described at coreceltic.com/maintain. "Minor repairs" included in HomeCare and Complete Care plans are defined as works taking no more than one hour of labour using standard consumables. Any works beyond this scope will be quoted separately.
3.6 Response Times
Response time targets are stated for each tier on the Maintain page. These are service targets, not contractual guarantees, though we will always endeavour to meet or exceed them.
4. Core Celtic Projects: Quotation and Works Terms
4.1 Quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. A quotation is not a binding contract until you accept it in writing and we confirm acceptance.
4.2 Variations
If the scope of works changes after a quotation has been accepted, we will provide a revised quotation for your approval before proceeding.
4.3 Payment
Payment terms will be set out in each individual quotation. Where no specific terms are stated, payment is due within 14 days of invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments at 8% above the Bank of England base rate.
4.4 Guarantees
All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion unless a longer period is stated in writing. This guarantee covers defects arising from our workmanship only.
5. Service Area
Our primary service area covers Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. We may accept work outside this area at our discretion, and a travel surcharge may apply for locations beyond a 30-mile radius of Cardigan.
6. Your Obligations
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the property
- Disclose any known hazards, including asbestos or structural issues
- Ensure necessary permissions and consents are in place before works commence
- Make timely decisions and provide information we reasonably request
7. Liability
We carry public liability and employer's liability insurance. We will make good any damage to your property caused by our negligence, provided you notify us within a reasonable time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website (including text, images, logos, design and code) is the property of Core Celtic Limited or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit any content without our written permission.
9. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us at hello@coreceltic.com or 07356 041800. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and resolve them within 14 working days. Our full complaints procedure is available on our website.
10. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, flood, fire, pandemic, labour disputes, or supply chain disruption.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
